This is the 2.1 inch version of our popular Black Brant X. The Mini BBX is very close to true scale and comes with detailed painting instructions. The Mini BBX is perfect for Level 1 Cert flights as it flies using high-impulse G through I motors in its 29mm MMT. When you’re ready, the Mini BBX can be retrofitted with the CPR-3000 altimeter-based Close Proximity Recovery system. As if that weren’t enough, the tail cone at the base of the rocket is designed to fit the optional Terrier Booster Stage for a truly authentic Black Brant X two-stage flight. As you may have already suspected, the Mini BBX kit includes a Quantum Tube airframe, a specially designed tail cone, and G-10 fins. The payload bay measures 21.5". The Mini-BBX CANNOT use a motor retainer of any kind if it will someday be used with the Terrier booster. Sorry.
